Submissions
Please ensure that your Title, Abstract, Presentation and/or Paper fit directly with the conference theme.
Conference Abstracts
The closing date for abstracts is Friday, 30 April, 2010.
Delegates wishing to present at the conference, whether as an individual or as part of a group or a panel, should submit an Abstract online for consideration, peer review and approval by the conference organisers well in advance of the conference. Interest in the 2010 conference has been high, so Abstracts should be submitted early to avoid missing out on a presentation slot.
Please read and comply with all the guidelines. They can be accessed by clicking on the following: Abstract _Submission _Guidelines.pdf
Assessment of Abstracts will be made on an ongoing basis until about mid May 2010 at which time conference organisers will commence the timetabling of presentations. Submitters will be advised by email of the acceptance or otherwise of their Abstracts. Acceptance of an Abstract does not confer any monetary assistance to attend the conference, and all expenses, travel, accommodation and registration fees must be met by the individual. Conference organisers advise, however, that they will have some limited sponsorship monies available to assist some delegates with some of their costs.
To submit your Abstract online, click on the menu button at left labelled ‘Submitting your Abstract’ and follow the process there.
Conference Papers
A conference proceedings will be published after the conference to provide a permanent published record of the papers presented at the 2010 Traditional Knowledge Conference. Delegates whose Abstracts have been accepted are invited to submit a Paper for the conference proceedings. All Papers should be submitted online by the commencement of the conference on 6th June 2010. For a copy of the guidelines for written Papers, please download the Paper_Submission_Guidelines.
